Christian music review Anointed CD
This CD has a powerful anointing the same as Marvin Sapp's other CDs. The song Power, lets us know that God will give us power to live right for Him. We Need You Right Now is saying how we need God right now because of the condition that the world is in. All of the songs are really uplifting. Marvin Sapp is truly anointed. I have mostly all of his CDs.

Christian music review He Goes Over The Top!!!
"More and More" is a jammin' song. I play it over and over and over. "We Need You Right Now" makes me think of the world, and how bad it has gotten. Kids shooting up schools, killing one another, dying innocently by immature and careless parents, and the events that took place September 11. We do need the Lord now more than we've ever needed Him before. The world has gotten out of hand. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Lord Jesus, we need You right now! This CD is a blessing to me, especially "Power". God gave us power to talk, walk, pray, and live right. Amen! Uplifting!!

Christian music review Wonderful
Although I love all the songs on this CD, Bring It To Jesus Is My Favorite. It's a true statement of how we feel sometimes as Christians and gives insight as to how to handle these situations. You go girl!

Christian music review Hello Evangelist Crawford.
Hello, my name is Patrice Powell, and I'm from Gifford, Fla. I had a chance to see in awhile back at Judy-Anns church. And to me you still sing the same as before, very much filled with god's power. I really enjoy your ministry and your singing as well.

I hope to see you down in my area again.

May God Bless, Patrice N. Powell

Christian music reivew This one's a grower
This is an album I hated at first, but I thouroughly enjoy it now. Every Plankeye album sounds different, and this one has a radio pop-rock feel, somewhat like Thrid Eye Blind. Of course, with this being the great Plankeye, these songs contain a lot more depth than most radio garbage. "Fall Down" is absolutely beautiful, and paints a perfect picture of the struggle against oneself. Some of the more punk sounding cuts are good too. Most of these songs took a lot of getting used to though, and I still can't stand a couple of them. Over all, a good pop rock album with lots of depth for the genre.

Christian music review The Eye's Best!
5 stars, definately...although "Commonwealth" would also deserve 5 stars. Now thinking about it, I'm not so sure which I'd rate the best.

The thing I love about Plankeye is the honesty. This album (as well as the previously mentioned "Commonwealth") was released at a time in my life where music was the only comfort to me. Whenever I hear a song from these albums, especially songs like "Fall Down", "One or the Other" or Commonwealth's "Who Loves You More?", it takes me to a place of rememberance. Sure, times weren't so good then...but it's a comfort to reflect back and to think of how I made it through, God and His creation, music.

Christian music review WOW! An Incredible Addition to My Plankeye Collection!
This CD, in my opinion is Plankeye's greatest project. When I heard the song "Fall Down", I was absolutely hooked on this CD! I love the first song and the last song, but Fall Down and Playground are my favorite songs. I learned to like the second one. I don't feel like writing much more becasue I have been writing reviews all day and I just want to make this point; PLANKEYE IS AWESOME IN THIS ALBUM!

Christian music reivew What a recording done by an "AWESOME GROUP"!
Ok,I have never heard of this recording before and after I bought the cd, I found myself playing it over and over again!
Yea, its kinda like a U2 recording in places,a delirious recording in places, and maybe a tree 63 recording in places too. (but it truely is a Worship/Praise recording and it found a place in my libary now)!!!
I truely recommend that you give this recording a chance if you are liking any modern Praise and Worship music ( if you are not liking christian music at all --- this will change your mind and you will start too like it )!!!
Go get yourself a copy of this recording and turn-up the volume on your stereo --- you will be Glad you did!!!

Christian music review AWESOME!
i love ciadain rhythm!!!! i saw them in concert and they rocked! i totally recommend u buy thier cd!!! they kick some serious butt!

Christian music review An incredible worship cd!
Kicking it off with "Beautiful Savior", this cd rocks and keeps going until the last song! These guys have an incredible sound that reminds you of Delirious or U2 at times (they even cover an old U2 songs "Gloria"). If you are a fan of modern praise and worship and like your songs with a little "kick", then this is one you need to buy NOW! I'm looking forward to their follow-up cd. I'd never heard of them before getting this, but I highly recommend them now.

Christian music reivew THE ONLY PETRA GREATEST HITS YOU NEED
First off, there are way to many Petra 'best of' cds out there. I am sure it's the record companies decision and Petra had little to say on the subject. With so many out there you might have a little trouble deciding which to go with. I would highly recommend going with this one as it is more complete than the other ones. You get all the essentials of Petra like "Shakin' The House" "Hit You Where You Live" "Judas Kiss" and "Angel Of Light". This best of cd features both singers and gives equal time to each one.

This is a good one to get for those wanting a good compilation that has songs from the pre Beyond Belief Petra. Actally you could buy this, "Beyond Belief" "Unseen Power" "Wake-Up Call" "No Doubt" "God Fixation" "Jekyl And Hyde" and you would have all the Petra you need. Maybe "Captured In Time And Space" to get live Petra songs like "Grave Robber" and "Speak To The Sky" would make this complete. That's my opinion and die hard fans would probably say "This Means War" is an essential album to buy also.

Stand out songs: "Hit You Where You Live" "Shakin'The House" and "Angel Of Light"

And yes, I know even this compilation is not perfect(It needs "This Means War" and a few more from "On Fire" in my opinion) but it is the best out there so far. If you can find the long out of print box set "War And Rememberance" then great, because that is another one worth including in your collection.

Christian music review Sedimentary Rock!
I like several of Petra's compiliations! Especially "Petraphonics" and that's not dinosaurs either. Layer upon layer of guitar chords and pounding drums! The album arts on these albums are really cool.

Christian music review "Upon This Rock....."
Petra is a ROCK band. They've cranked out hits for over three decades now. Secular arena rock fans should have no problem listening to these guys. They fit perfectly into anyone's rock catalogue and sound right comfortable there. They are perhaps the most influential Christian band in any genre. You could make an argument for Amy Grant in the pop genre, but she sang secular tunes to reach the masses whereas Petra has always been about the Gospel.

Though I enjoy many of the songs with Greg X. Volz on this particular album (some of the best ones on hear are fronted by him), I'm one of those latter-day Petra fans who started listening to the band after John Schlitt took over. Don't forget that Bob Hartman is the true driving force behind this band. Responsible for almost all of this band's tunes and usually contributing something to the ones he didn't write, Hartman deserves a special place in the halls of Christian rock history.

Favorites of mine include "Judas' Kiss," "All Fired Up," "Stand Up" and "He Came, He Saw, He Conquered." Other big hits include "Counsel of the Holy" and "Shakin' The House."

If you enjoy arena rock in the vein of Kansas, you're sure to enjoy Petra. They are one of the best things to come out of Christian music and they will keep influencing bands for many decades to come.

Christian music review Sanctified Soul
I was searching for some good Gospel music and not being familiar with any particular groups, I was uncertain as to who was good. I happened to be in a 'hole in the wall' of a music store and asked the salesperson where the Gospel music section was. He informed me that he only had used Gospel music CDs and pointed me to a section that looked as if a dust rag hadn't seen it in decades! After looking for about an hour I didn't see anything that looked good. As I was turning to leave, I happened to step on a CD that had fallen onto the floor. It was "Sanctified Soul" by Perfect Praise. For some reason, I felt the urge to get this one; after all, it was only $5.00. Man, what a great investment that was! This group is fantastic! The music is so uplifting and the vocalism and harmony are incredible. The words are clear and you can tell that these women know their stuff. I'm excitedly awaiting the release of their next CD.

Christian music review JUST FANTASTIC
I recently was at the Park Cafe', a club here in Germany, this past Sunday, and this group was performing. I had never heard of them, but I always give groups a chance. And they were fabulous! This is the gospel music that I like. Giving you the secular soul but with the Christian message. Their voices are reminiscent of a young Envogue. They are definately one of my favorite groups now!

Christian music review I've seen the light......
This is the second album of the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) boy-band TRUEvibe. And it is the last album for the group...... at least for Jason, Nathan, and Jordan. Approximately a year after the release of this album, these guys parted ways with founder Jonathan Lippmann, who at the time of this review is finishing the process of replacing the guys.

"See The Light" is a great follow-up to their self-titled 2001 debut album. While the sound of this sophmore album is very similar to the first one, the lyrics are much more heartfelt. The majority of the songs this time around were co-written by one or more of the guys.

The best song on the album, at least in my opinion, is the final track. "Not What I Say (But What I Do)" is a catchy acappella song about how, as Christians, it's not what we say about Jesus that is important, but what we do. Demonstrating God's love is what it's all about.

Christian music review Awesome CD!
This CD has everything: pure and spiritual songs, a variety of rhythms, good voices and the grace. The songs "You are Holy" and "Forgiven" are especially beautiful to me because they describe God's character: a merciful and loving Father who wants us to grow in Him. If you love God with passion, you will definitely enjoy this CD!

Christian music review What not to like?
This CD is a great one! Everything about is spirit-lifting, and enjoyable. It takes today's music, and stillpresents it with God's name. My favorite songs on THIS CD are "You Are Holy;" "Stay;" "See The Light;" "Complete;" "Pray;" and "Everytime."

Be sure to pick this up!

Christian music reivew Nice blend of radio-ish Christian alternative rock
I thought I'd chip in with a slightly more detailed review than the ones previously offered. The reason why you might consider buying this album is if you're looking for a CCM band with an almost-but-not-quite edgy sound with good production values and lyrics that are contemporary but really not too far from what's typical for the subculture (although Sarah Masen's song and "Lost the Plot" [which I believe was penned by Steve Taylor] are refreshing exceptions as songs willing to step outside the slickness and use the microscope on what we usually accept uncritically). The sound is pretty consistent throughout; production values are high, and the "flow" of the album is actually quite good.

Another reason this album works is that it culls songs from these artists which are both "hard" and musically interesting. "Lost the Plot" is the best song off of the Newsboys' "Take Me to Your Leader", nothing I've ever heard by Smalltown Poets is as good as "Monkey's Paw", and the Geoff Moore song featured here is the only one I can stand to listen to from him.

I did go on to buy "Reality Check" after being impressed by their song on here - and that album is very good as a alternative-rap mix (they're better than 311, their secular sound-alike, IMO). And that's another value of this album - if you like the song on here, you may like the album by the same artist. You may not, though, as they picked the good songs for this collection.

Even if not, this album is good on its own as a CCM alternative to the alternative rock radio station in your town.

Christian music review This is a great cd.

Christian music review flawless
This music was so inspireing to me i love it, he is so talented oh if only he could give his glory to our creator Jehovah GOD< you know our creator or the universe, YHWH. look it up his name even means, creator of the universe and he said himself it would never change , it is in the bible almost 7,000 times and it got taken out , do the research and Jesus is his son, he sent here to die for us. his firstborn of all creation, before anything else was created, only begotten son, well didnt mean it to be a religious class but its true, all of it, wonderfull cd as well

Christian music review Brilliant!
I have been a Dino fan for many years. I would like to tell all of the teenagers who read this that you are missing out if you think this kind of music is only for old people. I am 18 and I also play (or try to play) his songs on the piano. The quality and beauty of these songs is like nothing you probably have ever heard. He is a Julliard trained pianist and has amazing talent. My favorite songs were From A Distance, Streets of Gold, and Piano Concerto in A Minor. Words really don't do the music justice. Buy the CD and you won't be disappointed!

Christian music review The best album ever!
This is my favorite album of all time. It's great to go to sleep to, but it is also a great one to help you get through the day.

Christian music reivew Blessed Assurance
Tramaine is da bomb. I am 23 and her music has inspired me for 10 years. Still Tramaine is a testimony. As she indicated on "Lift Every Voice" this album was a testiment of the trials that she went through for the 7 years in between the "94 album.
For me, the album helped me through a rough period in my life. "All is not Lost" is da song. It helped me through many challenges in my life such as losses over disturbing, not needing relationships, In Jesus Name, Amen.

Christian music review tramaine is still tramaine!!!!!
I ANTICPATED HEARING THIS ALBUM B/C TRAMAINE ALWAYS MAKES SUCH GGOD MUSIC. WHAT I DID NOT KNOW WAS THAT TRAMAINE WOULD TAKE ALL OF HER MUSIC TO THE NEXT LEVEL. TRAMAINE SOUNDS LIKE A ANGEL ON ALL OF THESE SONGS . MY PERSONAL FAVORITE IS ITS YOUR POWER" THE DUET W/ WALTER HAWKINS THIS IS A SONG ABOUT HUMILTY AND TRAMAINE TRULY SHINES THROUGH IT. TRAMAINE DOES NOT MISS A BEAT ON THIS CD ,, SHE HAS A NE FAN!!!!!!!

Christian music review Justified By Faith
This cd was so timely for me. I truly believe that many Christians don't care to study scripture to understand the doctrine of justification; so to hear this awesome teaching, if not the most important doctrine in scripture, expressed in a song, by one of my favorite gospel singers, in such a soulful fashion, was so uplifting and enjoyable. Thank you to the song writer of "Justified By Faith". Also, track 2, 4, 5, 6 & 7 personally ministered to me. Tramaine's voice is ageless and so is her external beauty. It's amazing how God fearing Christian women, tend to age so gracefully. Thank you Tramaine & your staff for putting out an excellent cd. This is a great cd to add to any library.
