This CD got me through some stressful drives going 97 miles a day to work, and coming home through gridlock, this album blessed my soul & "When my Season comes," was my jam, another one I liked on here was "The devil's already defeated," and Marvelous by sis Beverly Crawford, Bishop TD Jakes and the Potter's house were a blessing to me thanks for doing the good work :) staying true to your first love.

Bishop Jakes always assemblys the best artist to produce a stellar project. Every song on here is inspiring and easy to remember. I was deeply blessed by all the songs .

This CD is very special at least for me because I was there when they taped this. If you want the full effect you might want to buy the VHS tape of this because it might have more extra scenes than does the CD and you can see how powerful this taping was. This CD is different from other Gospel albums, I cant explain how but it just is. If you buy it you wont be dissapointed, you can listen to this CD over and over and not get tired of it. Being a Potters House member, I thank God that he sent me to this church and be able to hear the Bishop and the choir each week. I was going through something tough but the first time I went to this church I just felt it this was my home. This church is truly a blessing and if you can ever come to Dallas COME by The Potter House, but if you cant make it you can listen over the internet at tdjakes.org. This CD WILL lift you up when your down.

I recently purchased a used copy of this album at an online auction house for quite a bit more than it's on sale for here. (Shoot.) It's still worth every penny. Bryan Duncan's 1989 album still holds up musically (except for "Don't You Wanna Rap" which was NEVER in style - sorry Bry - but after 10 years, I finally got the joke). Notable songs include adult contemporary hit "Stand In My Place", smooth "Strong Medicine", intimately jazzy "Lies Upon Lies", and joyful "Hand It Over". Every song has an infectious hook and are very sing-alongable. If you're a BD fan, you'll really dig this project!

In this world we suffer loss and pain. Bryan's songs share the loss and pain that God also suffered. You are drawn close to Him as you listen to these wonderful songs. You will be inspired. Your life may be changed - mine was.

This was my first expierience with Christian music and it was my mom's cassette, which I confiscated 5 years ago. I've listened to it so much that I've worn it out. So happy that I could find it on CD.

The Talleys have been a great influence on my life. I sing with their music all the time and always feel the sweet spirit in which they sing all of their songs. Testament is one of my favorites featuring: "Searchin'", "Oh What a Reason", "I Want It All" and "How Long Has It Been" to name a few. I have it in cassette and I'm buying a CD so I can listen to it in both of our vehicles. I hope and Pray your home as well as your life is as touched and blessed as mine has been as you listen to the music of this awesome, outstanding group.

Dottie Peoples has produced an outstanding piece of work on this album "Testify". The music is soft and beautiful, the lyrics are very inspirational. I really enjoy "Thank You" a very moving selection, as you hear and experience how gifted this singer is, her voice is vibrant and strong. "Testify" is another up lifting and moving selection. This entire album is a wonderful piece of work. I enjoy it very much.

This is the first CD that I have purchase of Dottie Peoples she is the greatest female singer. I will be purchasing anything that she makes from now on. I enjoyed the CD so much that I even had to play it at a birthday party.

DOTTIE IS A WOMAN WHO IS DEFINITELY IN A CLASS ALL BY HERSELF. SHE IS UNIQUE IN HER SINGING, AND MINISTERS THROUGH HER MUSIC AS ONLY SHE CAN. I ENJOYED THIS CASSETTE WHICH WAS GIVEN TO MY HUSBAND (WHO IS NOT SAVED), AND I JUST ENJOYED EVERY BIT OF IT. SHE TRULY DID TESTIFY ON THIS ONE, YOU JUST HAVE TO BUY IT, BORROW IT, OR WHATEVER, BUT ABOVE ALL - MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON IT. YOU ARE SURE TO BE BLESSED.

Great gospel album, plain and simple. The four-part harmonies of the Statler Brothers were never better, and this is the kind of music that makes them shine. I must disagree with those who lament the addition of Jimmy Fortune. While I liked the earlier work with tenor Lew DeWitt, I think Jimmy's voice is fantastic and the group's sound, though a little different, is every bit as good. These are all simple, down-to-earth gospel numbers--all good, with my favorite being the live version of "I'll Fly Away", which has a unique change of key in the middle and enough energy to send you off for the remainder of the day. Good stuff!

I first feel obliged to say that I have not yet purchased this particular album,however I have been listening for many years on various other albums. One thing is for certain, when someone down here plays this record (or other's with songs such as these), Our Savior, with a joyful heart and great big smile, is sure to be listening as well. Among the most impressive attribute's of this phenomenal foursome, is there honesty and integrity. For over 35 years they've shared the stage with one another and, while having need to replace only one of the original member's, the great counter tenor, Mr. Lew DeWitt, who took his last flight home some years back. Even with this vast expanse of time, through it all, there has been precisely nothing to cast a even the faintest of shadow's on themselves both as a group as well as in their own individual lives, their families or their music. As the mellenium was drawing closer and is now steadily on it's way, listeners of everything from the inspiration and hope of Christian & Gospel music, to the overwhelming anger and bitterness of Gangster Rap & Hip-Hop, are finding all too often that even though certain performer's are able to look and act with seeming sincerity the part on stage, the moment they step off, they become virtually unrecognizable. The Statler Brothers on the other hand, along with many other performers from that period, are who they are by the grace of God and nothing more, Sharing with others their simple secret, making no exceptions, changing nothing based on their surroundings or those who incessantly lurk about trying to . There can only be one conclusion when asking how they do it, and that is through their faith and trust in Christ. This faith and trust, coming from God the Father automatically lends itself to the trongly detected in nearly every song they've let the values instilled be Christ to anyone would say that. To end this review, allow me to just present a list of undisputible facts. 1)The Stat. Bro's have been working, virtually non-stop for better than 35 years. 2)Their has never been a member leave the group for any reason other than death. 3)The harmonies they produced in 1965, '68, '71, etc., are today just as crisp and beautiful, perhaps even more so. 4)Through the songs that Don & Harold Ried, and the other charter member Phil Balsley the world has taken posession of some it's most uplifting, tear-jerking and very often side-splittingly funny assets. In short, their is not, and will probably never be a vocal musical group, in any genre to have what these gentlemen have or do what theses gentlemen have done, and certainly not with the grace, style and integrity with which they've done it. This marvelous quartet, in late 2002, took the stage and grabbed their mic's for last time. I was never afforded the opportunity to see them live, but I will most assuradely continue to listen to their records, CD's, cassettes and maybe even an 8-track or two (this is a large, rectangular cartridge, made in much the same way cassettes and used for the same purpose), and maybe, if we all ask really nicely, after they've rested a bit they will again take their place up front to sarenade us once again. Until then, I guess we'll just have to count the flowers on the wall. My recomendation for this album "Todays Gospel Favorites" is that it's nothing short of must-have. Their other albums are quite good as well, try and get the whole collection if you can, you'll never tire of spinning them.

I heard Statler Brothers for the first time in 1984 "The Legend Goes On" and "Years Ago" vinil. I love it. Several years later, I bought a CD and to my surprise I heard a different harmony, it was not the harmony, it was a new voice, a new sound. I discover, I didn�t know that DeWitt was dead and a new singer cover him. I love Statler Brothers, the first and the actual group.

I have always loved Keith Green's music and owned many of his tapes. They were very worn out and I recently looked to replacing them and chose this CD & DVD Collection.

There is such a nice variety of Keith's music on this CD and I highly recommend this - you just can't beat it for the price! What a wonderful uplifting selection of music!

I haven't yet watched the DVD so I can't comment on that.

Keith Green was an incredible song writer, singer & lover of Christ! He practiced what he preached sort to speak. His hunger & desire for a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ is something I myself could only wish to have. His No compromise attitude it something so many Christians lack today. In close, this DVD & CD tell a story of man after God's own heart! His music will touch your life & make you fall in love with Jesus even MORE as far as I'm concerned! His entire life was a dedication to the Lord......You can't ask for anything more beautiful then that! Do yourself a favor & purchase this!

Wonderful! One of the greatest artists of our time is Keith Green. Every song is from the heart, they strengthen and gives hope to everyone that listen.

I Love this album. Every song seems to be inspirational. "United Live- everyday" sets the standard of what every praise album should be like. Great music for any age, especially teenagers and young adults. Electric guitars, acoustic, drums, piano, and original vocals; every aspect of this album is great.

I love ALL the albums of United Live, but "Everyday" has some of their best songs. There are 10 songs on this CD. Great music with vocals that are so inspirational your heart just sings. My favorite songs are "Everyday", "You Take Me Higher", "Jesus I Long", "Heaven". However, I do like the faster songs and the majority of these are slow and I can honestly say I just do not care for the female vocals in "Hear Our Prayer". But, it is still a MUST HAVE CD. It makes Jesus so much more real you can't wait to get to Heaven :)

As a worship leader I am always looking for fresh, new worship music. United Live hit me. It's probably the best Worship CD I have bought, from the first to last track. Has a great youth-band feel, and is well led by Reuben Morgan and team. Once again, good job Hillsongs.

This album is one of the best worship albums I've ever heard and is right up to par with all of the other amazing Hillsongs releases. I had the blessed opportunity to travel to Australia this year for the Hillsong Conference and I got a chance to meet the people who sing on this album. They have such a heart after God and it really shows on this CD. With songs like "Everyday" and "Prayer to the King" and my favorite "God Is Moving," anyone who buys this album will truly have an encounter with God!!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!

If you can't afford the full set of Rigoletto, this is the way to go. I have about 10 versions of this opera which is one of my all time favorites.
This Rigoletto is supreme. Sutherland sings up a storm, tossing of high D's and E's with extreme ease. Her trill is a marvel indeed. She is completely match with a young Pavarotti that matches Dame Joan's gorgeous voice. Pavarotti's high D is stunning.
The only competition with this Rigoletto is the one with Callas.
But Callas can't touch Sutherland in voice or technique.
In conclusion, this is the Rigoletto to get if you only want the highlights.

One word....FABULOUS! I've nearly worn it out! If you're new to opera, buy this; it's a sure hit!

I can't tell you how much this blessed and anointed man has changed my life. This CD is awesome. I know every song and so do my children. I hope that he continues to make more music for the Lord because the gospel music industry needs a voice like

THIS CD HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. IT IS UPLIFTING. IT IS THE PERFECT PRAISE AND WORSHIP CD. YOU CAN BE ALONE WITH GOD WHENEVER YOU PLAY THIS CD. I AM ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE NEXT CD. I CAN GO ON NAME THAT TUNE AND NAME EACH SONG IN TWO BARS OR LESS I HAVE PLAYED THIS CD SO MUCH AND ACTUALLY KNOW ALL THE WORDS, ITS THAT GOOD.

My whole family, from age 5 to 50, loves to listen to this album! "Jesus is God" is really in your face both musically and lyrically. It's probably my favorite song on the album. Another strong cut is "God is Good". This album isn't going to set the world on fire, but with it's funky music and funky lyrical imagery, it's a lot of fun to listen to.

I'm not sure how to classify these guys: Techno-rap? Alternative-Groove? Technocore? Whatever . . . They're great, anyways. The songs sound good, albeit a little repetitive at times. (I'm thinking here of "The Reason Y".) The production is first rate, while the lyrics are some of the most explicitly Christian on any of my CD's. I mean, not even Bride has a song entitled, "Jesus Is God"! The music, like "God Is Good" and "Bionic Son" really rocks and pounds. The lyrical imagery is intriguing, too: "Batman and Robin, what a duo/y'know, but my God and me can defeat the enemy." COOL! Interestingly, two of the singers from S&T became Catholics a year or so ago which makes them even more intriguing, since 99.9% of CCM is born again, Pentecostal, non-denom, etc. This is a really good CD. My only complaint would be that S&C need to find a definitve sound; they can't sound like they're throwing in everything but the kitchen sink -- that's DC Talk's job!

Wow! I've never bought such an amazing album!! The originality and power of every one of Scarecrow and Tinmen's is amazing. If you normally never listen to Christian music, get this CD! (I'm usually not attracted to Christian music at all, but this music is way different.) The preview clips on Amazon don't really do the music justice - try to borrow it from someone if you want to hear what it's like. It's too bad that the CD went out of print - but I think you can still get copies from some websites (or you might get a used copy here.) I don't know why this one went out of print - it's so much better than No Place like Home!
