This album is the best I've ever heard. Tom Netherton has such a pure voice, it brings tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. I have been watching the Welk Show for a long, long, time just to hear tom sing. GREAT TALENT!

A friend gave me this CD among others as a christmas gift and I didn't listen to it for about a month but was pleasantly surprised when I did! Ben Glover has an excellent voice and the words of the songs are just beautiful. My favourite being the title song 26 letters but all of them are really good, easy Christian listening. I've been telling everyone about this CD since I've listened to it.

I just saw Ben GLover open up for Mark Schultz, and I can say he does NOT disappoint. His songs are well-written and he clearly has the passion in his voice. Go ahead and give this new guy a try- you won't believe how good he is.

What a powerful new artist. I first heard Ben Glover when he opened for a Mark Schultz concert. As soon as he got off stage I ran out of the auditorium and bought his CD at the table in the entrance. There's just something about his music that I don't see in most of the Christian artists today. He's got a real sincerity, a true love for the Lord. When I got the chance to meet him after the concert I could sense that he had a strong relationship with the Lord. If you only buy one CD this year, buy this one. I especially liked the song "26 letters". Great CD! I pray Ben Glover keeps his eyes on the Lord and doesn't stray from the path.

this cd is very personal to me i know aaron jeoffrey personaly and all there cd's are awsome he is is very powerfulland strong i also like the song prey this song is very strong and among one of my many faves........

The song One Million is awesome.The song really speaks to me that I have no reason, but to trust Christ in every trial and tribulation I face in my daily Christain Walk.

"One Million Reasons", "The Keys, Please", "Heavy on My Heart", "He Is" are all fabulous songs. Aaron and Jeoffrey have a real talents for bringing out inspirational songs.

I can't wait to see them live and await further release

These Oklahoma rockers take complex rock to a new emotional level. From the time and melody changes in the first track, Corresponding Failure, to the melancholy tones in Tomorrows Mileage and Sunrise for the Blind, we can see the complexity in their structure and how they do it with such confidence. They've managed to take a platform that usually sounds like a jam session and make it into something that flows with the characteristics of a real full-length album. This is some of the most intersting emo/indie i've listened to, and would recommend this to anyone who can sit down, analyze it a bit, and then enjoy it for the quality of the music.

the central attraction of this album is it's use of viscerally recorded emotion that seems to levitate above most other music in this genre.

I own 3 GLAD CDs and this is my absolute favorite! Their rendition of Joyful,Joyful is a classic & worth the cost of the whole CD alone. From the first notes & chord they make in Lead On, Oh King Eternal you'll be hooked. GLAD puts a new & wonderful twist on the old classics you've probably heard in church & have grown tired of hearing the same way over & over again. You'll never get bored with their exciting arrangements and wonderful harmonies.

I purchased "Acapella Hymns" (on cassette) 9 years ago because I was familiar with a few of the song titles. I expected the songs to be sung in the same mellow style for which they were originally written. I was surprised. Glad's arrangement and performance are truly second-to-none. A few of the CD's in my "Top 25 CD's of All Time" case include U2, Eagles Best of, and Glad. This CD must go down as one of the unsung greats.

Glad takes some of Christendom's most beloved hymns and puts a joyful modern spin on them. I can't help but think that the venerable writers of these hymns would be pleased by this uplifting CD. The close harmony of this group is wonderful to listen to, but when combined with the words of these traditional hymns, it becomes even more special. Whether they are singing the soaring "Fairest Lord Jesus" or the majestic "O Worship the King", Glad communicates the love of God in a new and refreshing way. The high voices soar and the lower voices provide a rock-solid foundation for a totally wonderful listening experience.

Each track is unique and dynamic. While you are still getting over the enjoyment of one track the next one pops along, better and filled with more exciting tune, As for me I love to listen to track 10 over and over again

O'landa comes in with his usual remake mastery in "God Specializes." This was like chocolate chocolate chip ice cream for my soul because I could never get into this hymn as a kid. However, when the Associates stepped in with their overwhelming joy about all the things God could do, all the things He "specialized in" I couldn't help but bounce to work with my walkman blasting. Then he cheated me with "I Yield" where right when I felt the Spirit taking over the song begins to fade, but thats OK O'landa I will find out what REALLY happened at that recording. Now, when I heard "Hold On" I was taken away by the POWER that the tenors displayed. Being a tenor myself this song became an instant favorite. I memorized this scripture because of this song, and after learning it I couldn't but to mutter over what True faith was. This song also shows us just how high the choir can go. I have to give them their props though because not one section dropped out in any of the three key changes. Then their is "We Praise You". This is one song that showed me that this group knows how to get into the Holy of Holies. This song humbles you as it reminds you that we are mear clay, and exault Him as the Trinity, and the tell of how all things praise his name, and then cresendos into a work of simple praise that is sure to touch your soul and beckon you into His presence. Finally there is the all powerful "God has it All in Control". The word painting in the song jumps at you in the verying begining as the bass plays a dotted quarter note and the choir blows in singing in chest voice that God has it all in control. The register itself is enough to convince one that God is in control. The soloist minister with the same passion and belief. Her heart is definately in this work. There is a key change in the middle the accents the first two verses, and the original chorus, and just when you can't see past the tears in you eyesm and you think the song has faded away the sopranos and altos come in very softly and very sweetly in unison telling you that he can calm your angry seas, and he is there to take care of your every need. Using their every vocal skill by the anointing of God they swell up with skill and technique that show God has everything, even that last note held for an unknown count, in control. This CD is a must add to the collection of you music ministers out there. God show Himself in the music of this Choir. Not many people know about the power that God invested in these vessels, but let me be one of the first to tell it. The annointing is on this work. Buy it.

I was deeply saddened to hear of O'landa's death. I was a sacred traditional music listener until I heard the CD "All the Bases". I was moved by the spirit when I listened to the 6th track "We Praise You". I guess I never knew that you could put that much feeling into music. O'landa was able to get the very best from his chorus and this recording is a great example of that.

Well O'landa has done it again. I love the choir in the back ground also. They really seem to have sung their hearts out and put their hearts into this album. Well although O'landa is deceased I think he is really grateful for our support.

Although I am a Rance Allen fan, I think he's had previous recordings that top this one. The biggest disappointment was he sang a Pentecostal Ambassador hit, "Hold On," and had the original lead vocalist of the song, Elder Donald L. Golder of the Pentecostal Ambassadors, singing in the background. I didn't hear Elder Allen at any time share the lead with Elder Golder. My personal opinion, that was terribly inappropriate. He even used Elder Golder's church choir in the background. Nevertheless, I suppose we can still enjoy the soulful sounds of Elder Rance Allen.

The Rance Allen Group has not missed a beat! After years and years of recording, they still sound as vibrant and refreshed as they did when I first heard them. No matter how people have tried to change music, theirs remains the same.....great as usual.

This is a great CD. Rance Allen is a God-gifted singer. The group's talent is phenomenal. This cd was definitely worth the price. Easy listening and has a soulful and jazzy beat.

I bought all 4 volumes in this series together as "America's 100 Favorite...." Don's gifted style results in moving P&W from Sunday to 24/7 in your car or portable CD player. I searched the web for all possible P&W CD's, and conclude his arrangements are a quantum level higher than most everyone else. Great news in 05 for his fans. [...] See my review on that web page; with more and more even greater and anointed P&W songs being published year by year, his 05 CD takes it on up to another level; the best is probably still yet to come from the song writers. Check out "Forever," "Now Is The Time To Worship," and "He Knows My Name," etc., and see for yourself.

I see some negative reviews for the 3rd and 4th volumes of this series but these are openly described as choruses and so they will naturally be short. However, as I only have this first volume, all I can say is that I'm very pleased with the track selections which are among my favorite worship songs.

The recording quality is also quite good and I find this cd to be very uplifting. The shortest track is 1 minute and 7 seconds long ("Awesome God")while the longest track is 3 minutes 34 seconds long ("Give Thanks"). Looking at the selections in the other volumes though, it appears to me that the best tracks are here.

A great compilation of my favorite choruses with reasonably good sound quality and so 5 stars!!!

This is a really great C.D. Some that I have bought in the past have not been very good quality C.D.'s. I would recommend this to anyone who loves worship music.
